Aircraft Pre Buy/Sell Audit

This service is a comprehensive review of the maintenance records and history of an aircraft from the time it rolled off the assembly line up through the date of the review. Airframe, engines, propellers, APU, appliances, modifications, compliance with AD's, Form 337's, weight and balance documentation, etc. are all reviewed to validate and establish the aircraft's current maintenance status and airworthiness condition. Avoid expensive cash outlays after you own the aircraft by having American Air Sentinel perform this important due diligence service for you before you buy. Aircraft Conformity Audit

Prior to putting an aircraft on certificate and into passenger service, the aircraft must conform to all applicable aviation regulations with regards to its airworthiness and safety status. This conformity process can be a time consuming and cumbersome exercise better accomplished by persons experienced in this type of work. American Air Sentinel performs two services to assist operators adding aircraft to their certificate.

Our Aircraft Conformity Service is a comprehensive aircraft and maintenance history review and inspection to determine if the aircraft is in conformity and what is needed to get the aircraft into conformity with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Under this option we do all the heavy lifting in preparing the aircraft for passenger service. At the conclusion of the service we assist the operator during the FAA conformity audit.

We also provide a "Self Conformity Audit" service for our clients. Under this method, a client performs the conformity work themselves and American Air Sentinel performs the actual conformity audit in lieu of the Primary Maintenance Inspector from the operators FSDO. This "Self Conformity Authority" must be granted and approved by the certificate holder's local FSDO. If approved by the FSDO, the conformity procedure is written into the Operator's maintenance manual and becomes part of their normal standard operating procedures when adding aircraft onto their certificate. In essence, American Air Sentinel becomes your conformity partner.

American Air Sentinel has performed a considerable number of Self Conformity Audits and has the experience, know how and procedural expertise required to get this Self Conformity privilege approved by the FAA. We have been extremely successful using this method of conformity because of our exceptionally thorough procedures and auditing techniques.

This method is considerably more cost effective for certificate holders because it saves valuable employee and staff labor cost, and employs experts at conformity issues.
