Privacy Policy and Confidential Information

American Air Sentinel  strictly  prohibits  the disclosure of our client's audit discrepancies.

Business reputations can easily be ruined through misunderstanding, misinterpretation, or deliberate misrepresentation of audit discrepancies by lay-persons or business competitors if precautions are not taken in the protection of private and confidential information.

Audits examine and validate legal compliance with Aviation Regulations and the safety condition of a flight operation during the period of the audit.  All audit discrepancies and findings are the privileged and confidential information of the organization being audited.  We perform an extensive review of our findings with management at the conclusion of the audit engagement during the audit closing debrief.  In our program, audit discrepancies and findings are not made available to the public through the sale of "audit reports."

At the conclusion of the audit, the client either "passes" the audit, at which point they are recommended for use, or they "fail" the audit, at which point they are not recommended until they correct the items which did not meet the American Air Sentinel criteria.

One important area where American Air Sentinel differs from other auditing firms is in how we report audit results.  We disclose on our website, free of charge or membership fees, the inclusive dates we performed the audit, whether or not the client passed or failed our audit, our recommendation or non-recommendation for use, and when the next audit is due.  Our normal audit cycle is an audit every 24 months.   Charter clients and brokers alike can have confidence in an American Air Sentinel recommendation.  A recommendation that infers a safe and reliable air charter operation.  Audit discrepancies are not disclosed to the general public. They are considered confidential client information and protected from public disclosure.

American Air Sentinel performs audits under a moral and ethical obligation to ensure the safety and well being of the flying and non-flying public.  We perform our audits on a "best efforts" basis.   This ensures that we refer only a safe and reliable professional air charter operation.   The general public, brokers, and users of air charter services can have full confidence in our recommendations because of trust in the American Air Sentinel name and the integrity of our audit program.
